You Know What Your Business Can Do. Putting It on One Page Is the Hard Part.

CapReady™ walks you through eight guided prompts and turns your answers into a capability statement a government buyer will take seriously. You supply the facts. It handles the wording, the accuracy check and the layout.

No contracting experience required. No writing required. Built to stop the AI from inventing anything about your business.

How we got here

A contracting officer at an outreach event. A prime you met at a matchmaking session. A procurement email that ends with "send over your capability statement and we will keep you on file."

And you said you would send it.

Then you sat down that night, opened a template you found online, and stared at a box labeled Core Capabilities with no idea whether what you do counts as one. Does the work you did before you started the company go in here? Do you list the certification you applied for but have not received? Where do the NAICS codes go, and does it matter which one is first?

So it went on the list. And it is still on the list.

It usually starts with somebody asking

Most people who quit are not missing information.
They are missing the questions.

Most people who sit down to write a capability statement stall out early, and it is almost never because they lack the information. It is because they open a template, see a box labeled Core Capabilities, and have no idea whether what they do counts.

So they do what seems safe. They copy the language from somebody else's statement, soften it until it says nothing, and end up with a page that could describe four hundred other companies.

The ones who get it done are not better writers. They just had somebody asking them the right questions in the right order. That is the whole difference.

And the thing most people worry about with AI, that it will quietly invent a client or a certification to fill a gap, is the exact thing CapReady is built to prevent. It will not fill a gap. It will tell you the gap is there and ask you what belongs in it.

A blank template hands you empty boxes. CapReady™ tells you what goes in them.

Most capability statement templates give you the same four headings. Core Capabilities. Differentiators. Past Performance. Company Data.

Those headings are correct. They are also useless when you do not know what belongs underneath them.

CapReady works the other way around. It starts with your business and asks you one question at a time, in plain language, explaining anything you have not heard before. You answer. It organizes. You approve every word before it moves on.

Then it checks your work.

Vague claims. Certifications you have not confirmed. Experience labeled as something it is not. Codes in the wrong format. Anything that should be verified before it goes on a public document.

Only then does it build the page.

Your logo, your colors, a professional layout, and a finished file

First it interviews you.

What do you actually do, who do you do it for, what problems do you solve, what have you delivered. You are allowed to answer "I do not know" or "skip" and keep moving.

Three jobs get separated and done in order.

You never write a sentence. You never pick a font until the content is right.

The part nobody else is talking about

Here is what a template cannot do, and what most AI tools will do wrong.

If you tell a general purpose AI chatbot that you spent twelve years in the Army running logistics, it will happily write that up as your company's past performance. That is not true, and a contracting officer who reads carefully will know it is not true.

CapReady™ separates them. Military service becomes Relevant Military Experience. Work you did as an employee becomes Key Personnel Experience. Only contracts your company actually held get called Past Performance.

Same with certifications. If you tell CapReady™ you are service-disabled veteran-owned, it stops and asks whether you are certified through SBA VetCert or whether you self-certified years ago. Because self-certification stopped counting for federal SDVOSB credit on October 1, 2024, and putting SDVOSB on a public document when you are not certified is a claim you cannot back.

It will still describe you accurately as veteran-owned, because that is true and it is useful.

That is the difference between a tool that fills a page and a tool that protects your credibility.

The CapReady™ Guarantee

Buy it, use it, and if it does not do what this page says it does, email us within 30 days and we will refund you. You do not have to finish the prompts first. You do not have to explain yourself. You keep the files.

At seventeen dollars, protecting you from a bad purchase matters more to us than protecting ourselves from a refund.

The document is not the point. Being able to answer is.

Nobody wins a contract because their capability statement was well designed.

What happens is smaller than that, and it happens constantly. Somebody asks what your company does. You send one page that answers it clearly. You stay on the list. You get the next email. You get invited to the thing.

Without that page, the conversation ends at "I will send it over," and most of the time it never gets sent, and you never find out what would have happened.

You already have the information. It is in your head, in your files, in the work you have already done. It has just never been organized into something you can hand to someone.

Set aside one focused afternoon. Most people should plan for two to four hours depending on how much they have ready, though we are still gathering data from beta users to confirm that. Gather what you have. Work through the prompts in order.

Finish with a document you are not embarrassed to send.

Questions people ask

Do I need to know anything about government contracting?

No. CapReady explains every term the first time it uses it, including UEI, CAGE, NAICS and PSC. It asks one question at a time and lets you skip anything you do not have. You can come back and fill in the gaps later.

Do I need to be good with AI?

If you can copy text, paste it into a chat box, and answer questions, you can do this. The prompts contain all the instructions. You are not writing prompts, you are answering questions..

I have no past performance. Is this still worth it?

Yes, and this is a very common situation. Prompt 4 has a dedicated path for businesses with no completed contracts. It builds your experience section from your professional background, your military service translated into business language, your credentials and your capacity, and it labels the section correctly so you are never overstating what you have done.

Will it actually produce the PDF?

The final prompt asks your AI tool to generate a PDF and an editable document. File creation varies by platform and account type. If your tool cannot create files, the prompt produces a complete Canva-ready layout instead, with every piece of text, all colors, font recommendations and exact placement, so you can assemble it in a few minutes.

How long does it take?

Plan for one focused afternoon, roughly two to four hours. It depends heavily on how much of your business information you have gathered before you start, which is why the intake worksheet is included. This is an estimate based on early use, not a guaranteed time

Does this guarantee I will win a contract?

No, and be careful with anyone who tells you otherwise. A capability statement is a marketing document. It gets you read, remembered and kept on file. What you do with that is up to you.

Get your business CapReady™

P.S. The people who get this done are not better writers than you. They just got asked the right questions in the right order. That is the entire product, and today it costs seventeen dollars.
