So, who am I?

Real talk. Real results. Real person.

Let's be real. Nobody has time for fluff, filler, or information overload. I'm not here to impress you with buzzwords or long-winded stories. I'm here to hand you the tools, cut the nonsense, and get you from point A to point B with as little friction as possible.

We've all heard the motivational pep talks. This ain't that.

This is straight-up strategy, no chaser. So let's skip the warm-up and if you want to know who's behind all of this, keep reading.

The Woman Behind the Work

Born and raised in Great Britain, Jacqueline Gordon-Shim, PhD has never been content with easy answers or conventional paths. From the time she was a child, she questioned everything, pushed every boundary, and refused to settle. That curiosity didn't stay in Great Britain. It crossed oceans.

She built her career at the intersection of engineering precision and entrepreneurial audacity. Civil engineer. Mechanical engineer. Graphic designer. United States Marine Corps veteran. PhD. The credentials are real, the range is intentional, and the results speak for themselves.

What drives her isn't the titles. It's the obsession with figuring out how things work and then making them work better. For businesses. For brands. For people who are ready to stop spinning their wheels and start moving.

She has worked with industry giants including Siemens, Verizon, AdVersace, AT&T, IHG (formerly Bass Hotels and Resorts), Foresters, and MarketingRT. She has led as Executive Director of a national veterans organization. She has built businesses, partnerships, joint ventures, and client relationships across industries and across borders.

And she's just getting started.

My Website is a Working Lab

It's a think tank, and sometimes even a reality check. Think of it as a hub where I share
projects, insights, and experiments in real-time. I designed it to help me sharpen my vision,
grow my businesses, and own my lane with confidence. Explore it. I'm sure you will find some things I've done that maybe you are working on, that might help you out. I may be retired,
but I am still keeping up with the industries and the markets. I love showing you what I've been working on and what I'm struggling with.

If you have ideas, share them.
If you see something I’ve done that sparks an idea for you? Steal it. Adapt it. Run with it.
And if you’ve got an idea I should know about? Share it. Let’s collaborate.

WHAT I DO
(THE MANY HATS)

One Person. Many Hats. Zero Apologies.

Author. Engineer. Marketer. Brand Strategist. Entrepreneur. Founder. Veterans Advocate. AI Experimenter. The list keeps growing and honestly, that's by design.

Most people pick a lane. I just build new ones.

Here is what that looks like in practice:

As an Author, I write books that skip the fluff and get straight to what matters. No filler, no jargon, just clear and actionable insight that moves you forward fast. Teaching and training content that actually does its job.

As an Entrepreneurial Engineer, I bring engineering precision to business strategy. That means analyzing problems from the ground up, building solutions that hold, and executing with the kind of discipline most people only talk about.

As a Brand Strategist and Marketer, I have worked with companies ranging from Fortune 500s to scrappy startups, crafting strategies that don't just look good but generate real revenue and real results.

As a Veterans Advocate, I have served as Executive Director of a national veterans organization because service doesn't stop when you take off the uniform.

As an AI Experimenter, I play. I test. I push the tools to see what's possible. And then I use what works.

This isn't a resume. It's a way of operating.

MY WRITING PHILOSOPHY

Why I Write the Way I Write

In a world drowning in information, most books give you more of the same. More filler. More fluff. More of the same recycled advice dressed up in a new cover.

That's not what you'll find here.

When I write to teach and train, I believe in skipping straight to what matters. No jargon. No overwhelm. No padding pages just to hit a word count. Just clear, actionable insight designed to take you from point A to point B as efficiently as possible.

You've heard it all before. So let's stop talking about it and start doing it.

Every book I write starts with one question: what does the reader actually need to walk away with? Not what sounds impressive. Not what fills chapters. What works. What moves the needle. What gets results.

That's the standard I hold myself to. Every time. No exceptions.

If you pick up one of my books, you're not getting a pep talk. You're getting a plan.

BEHIND THE WORK /
AI EXPERIMENTS

Yes, I Play with AI. No, I'm Not Sorry About It.

Here's something you should know about me. I don't wait for permission to explore new territory. Never have. So when AI started changing the game, I didn't sit on the sidelines debating whether it was a good idea. I jumped in.

I experiment with AI tools the same way I approach everything else. With curiosity, with intention, and with zero interest in pretending I have it all figured out. Some experiments are brilliant. Some are hilarious. All of them teach me something.

You'll see AI generated images on this site. You'll see creative projects that blur the line between human and machine. That's not an accident. That's the point. I believe in transparency about the tools I use and the work I produce. So yes, some of those images are AI generated. The strategy, the voice, the ideas behind them? That's all me.

Beyond AI, there is always something in progress. A new book. A new venture. A partnership taking shape. A project that doesn't have a name yet but has all the energy of something worth watching.

This page is a snapshot. The work is always moving.

Stay tuned.

So What Makes Me Different?

Honestly? I don't just talk about it. I do it.

I bring the academic credentials and the street-level hustle. The engineering discipline and the creative instinct. The business strategy and the human connection. Most people operate in one world. I operate in all of them at once.

I'm not here to be the loudest voice in the room. I'm here to be the most useful one.

If you're ready to cut the noise, get the tools, and actually move forward, you're in the right place.
