I’m Jacqueline, but you can think of me as a Creative Instigator, Culture Technologist, and Human Spark Plug. Translation? I light up ideas at the messy intersection of creativity, business, and community, then help turn them into strategies that actually work.

I’ve spent my career building, testing, scaling, and reinventing ventures across industries, from tech to publishing, government contracting to community platforms, apps to journals. I don’t believe in standing still, and I certainly don’t believe in copy-paste entrepreneurship.

Around here, I don’t do cookie-cutter templates or recycled advice. I do bold moves, smart systems, and fearless experimentation, and just the right amount of sass to keep things interesting. What Makes Me Different

I’m not the typical coach, consultant, or strategist. I’m an Entrepreneurial Engineer. A builder who thrives at the intersection of creativity and structure. My superpower is seeing both the big picture and the blueprint: the messy vision and the systems that make it real.

I may be “retired” on paper, but I’ll never retire from experimenting, building, and sharing what works (and what doesn’t). My site is very different from a sales site or portfolio site.

It's a think tank, and sometimes even a reality check. Think of it as a hub where I share projects, insights, and experiments in real-time. I designed it to help me sharpen my vision, grow my businesses, and own my lane with confidence. Explore it. Dr. Jacqueline Gordon-Shim, PhD, is a serial entrepreneur, author, strategist, and Entrepreneurial Engineer who helps visionaries turn bold ideas into thriving ventures. She earned her PhD in [insert field], with advanced training and certifications in Series 6 & Series 7 (Life and Health, Stocks & Bonds), QuarkXPress (Certified Expert), Microsoft Office (MOS), Adobe (Certified Expert), and Fundraising Today, blending academic rigor with street-smart execution.

A 100% disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Gordon-Shim has built ventures across publishing, technology, government contracting, veteran entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, and creative industries. She is the founder of multiple platforms including VetBizLive, Independence for Women Veterans of America (IWVA.org), AbilAccess.org, and The Recovery Blueprint™, along with a growing library of journals, planners, and entrepreneurial toolkits. She is also the visionary behind companies such as The PBR, Diversity Connective, Ultimate Content Library, and has partnered in ventures including MEI Radio and Jamaica Business Magazine.

Her entrepreneurial journey began in Great Britain, where her curiosity and determination to challenge the status quo set her apart from an early age. As a child, she was the one raising her hand to ask “Why?” — refusing to accept “because that’s the way it is” as an answer. Crossing oceans gave her the chance to expand her vision and hone her talents in strategic planning, branding, and innovation.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has collaborated with organizations such as AdVersace, AT&T, IHG (formerly Bass Hotels & Resorts), Independent Order of Foresters, Siemens, Verizon, UCC, UMC, MarketingRT, and countless small businesses, independents, and nonprofits. She has served as Marketing Director and strategist across industries including insurance, mortgages, real estate, construction, hospitality, technology, legal services, finance, and healthcare.

Her expertise spans communications, marketing, design, development, social media, web management, and project leadership. She thrives in environments of challenge and innovation, consistently delivering strategic dashboards that transform dynamic ideas into brands, and brands into measurable profitability.
